Frequently Asked Questions

Which charging networks are covered?

Voltika aggregates charging station data from major global and local network operators onto a single map, so you do not need a separate app for each network. Covered networks include Tesla Superchargers, Ionity, Shell Recharge and hundreds of regional providers such as Zes, Esarj, Trugo, Porsche Destination Charging and Voltrun, depending on your country. Every station listing shows the operator name, the available connector types (CCS, CHAdeMO, Type 2 or Tesla) and the maximum charging power in kW, so you can filter for the network or the speed you need before you set off. Coverage varies by country and city: Voltika currently indexes more than 28,000 real charging locations across 368 cities worldwide, and the list grows as new operators are added.

Is the availability status accurate?

Yes, where the operator publishes it. In the mobile app Voltika shows real-time occupancy status (Available, Busy, Out of Order) pulled from the operators' own servers, so you can see whether a charger is free before you drive there. Not every network exposes live data; for those stations Voltika shows the connector types and maximum power but marks the live status as unavailable rather than guessing. Status is refreshed each time you open or pan the map. The demo map on this website does not show live status at all — it uses sample pins for illustration only.

Can I get turn-by-turn directions?

Yes. After you select a station, a single tap hands the coordinates to your preferred navigation app — Google Maps, Apple Maps, Waze or Yandex Navigation — and turn-by-turn guidance starts there. Voltika does not replace your navigation app; it finds the right charger and passes it on, so you keep the routing, traffic and voice guidance you already use. Each station page also shows the distance from your current location, the address, and, when the operator provides them, opening hours and a phone number, so you can confirm the stop before you drive.

Is the app free to use?

Voltika is free to download and free to explore: you can open the map, browse stations and see connector types and charging power at no cost, with a daily search allowance. Voltika Premium is an auto-renewing subscription (weekly or annual) that removes the daily limit and unlocks advanced filters by connector type and charging power, nearest-station mode and one-tap navigation. There are no adverts in the app at any tier. You can cancel Premium at any time from your App Store or Google Play account settings.

Are the stations on this website real?

No — the map on this website is populated with sample (demo) pins for illustration only, and it does not reflect real charging stations or live availability. Real, named station locations are listed on the city pages under /charging-stations/, which cover 368 cities and more than 28,000 charging locations with their operators, connector types and power ratings. Real-time availability is available exclusively inside the free Voltika mobile app for iOS and Android, because occupancy data comes from operator feeds that update continuously.
